Really lovely cafe. We had traditional pie and mash, beautiful. Best I have had for a while. The ladies that worked there were very helpful.
I have been here many times, had breakfast today, but have eaten at lunch time, today one friend had Sunday lunch(roast) its lovely, proper roast potatoes, so nice, my other friend had pie, mashliquor, they are freshly cooked, the staff and owner are lovely, polite and prices are great. And you can take photo's of the big tank outside
Had lunch with my friend on a rather wet November day . I had steak sandwich and chips he has lasagne. We had tea and coffee in two big mugs . Came to 18.50 so excellent value . Food was very good. Nice steak and he enjoyed his lasagne . Plenty of it as well quick service and very friendly. I'm not local but I do visit fro. Time to time and would happily return .
Amongst their usual Cafe options like all day breakfast, they have Menzies pie, mash and liquor. Very nice it was too.
I've been going to this place off & on for 15 years. The food is cooked well. Service is excellent. Nothing is to much trouble. The owner is always on hand to help with any dietary requirements. Can honestly say. I've never had a bad meal here. Price are great & affordable.
